11-04-2024 - Good Morning! It's Monday, and one more day until election day! I did the early voting thing, so I'm good. We have more rain in the forecast, and that's good. We need to top off our lakes before winter. In an earlier post, I mentioned sealing poorly constructed (not by me) walls in my storm cellar. Now I get to see how good a job I did. My coffee is ready!
11-03-2024 - The Wichita Amateur Radio Society holds a weekly informal net on Sundays at 8:00 PM on the club's 147.140 MHz repeater. As far as I know, all licensed Amateur (ham) Radio operators are invited to check in. Of course, scanner radio enthusiasts can also tune in.

It was a small rainbow, and one end was between two earth-covered ammunition storage bunkers. I went to that location and found no pot of gold! It must have been at the other end, the end I couldn't see.
